About Us

About Me…The Basics:

So what do you want to know? I’m pretty much an open book, and there is very little that I won’t share if it will help someone. I have a B.S. in Acting from Illinois State University and an M.Ed. from University of Illinois at Chicago in Secondary English Education. I taught grades 9-12 English literature for several years. I have been working in the direct sales industry since before I left education and it is there where I discovered and developed my gifts and talents as an effective member and coach.

A Bit More:

I have two young boys and I still currently run a very successful direct sales party plan business. Motherhood changed everything for me. I didn’t measure my success in the same way. My vision for my life completely changed and I had to do a some heavy soul searching to figure out what I am supposed to be doing and what was really going to give me the fulfillment that I craved. I found that my experiences had taught me how to live an authentic life and I instinctively knew that I was going to need to build something from scratch.

I come from a family that is very involved in the salon industry. In fact, I spent a significant amount of time at my aunt’s and then my cousin’s salons when I was growing up. I absorbed a lot of the business principles necessary to be successful in the service industry and I am very grateful to have had these excellent role models. These experiences, together with the trainings from my companies, working with my team, working with coaches and my coach training have given me a unique perspective and very actionable strategies to impart upon the people I coach and mentor. In the past five years I have specifically developed an exceptional ability to reflect upon my own experiences in order to dissect the elements that make the difference in reaching goals.

Since I was thirteen years old, I have been involved in public speaking through my schools speech team. After I left school, I continued to coach and judge tournaments. This was the most salient aspect of what I knew I was to create. While others may struggle with being in front of groups, I find it invigorating and…fun. I love to engage people in such a way that they can’t help, but learn something.

Mission

My mission is to empower people to develop a clear vision, then build systems, goals, and plans as the scaffolding underneath it. At the core is to teach people to build better relationships with the people they serve and to find harmony in all aspects of their lives. In this, they will attract things that support their happiness. Whether you are in the direct sales industry, the salon/spa industry, or another industry, my mission is to empower you to create a mindset, plan, and execution that moves you towards your goal and thus your vision.

Vision

This adventure is just the beginning. I believe that I get what I put out there (karma). In helping others to find their dreams, their happiness, their harmony, I am in turn making the world a more beautiful place. The world can be so complex and exhausting, but when we get back to the core of who we are and and what the simple things are that make us happy, we can incorporate them into our everyday lives. No two people will have the same recipe for their bliss. When you find it, it may not be easy, but it will be fulfilling. I dream to make more people feel how I do on a regular basis, when my soul is buzzing.
